The time for gift giving is nigh. A flurry of economic activity is already in action. As you make your lists and check them twice, please consider giving the gift that lasts – art. Visit From the Heights – A Holiday Store the next time you are in the Cedar Lee neighborhood and select from the wonderful and thought provoking selection Heights Arts has assembled. You will be supporting the economy of Northeast Ohio in many ways. And even if your shopping list doesn’t include art, jewelry, books, music, stop by and see the cornucopia of creativity that springs forth year round from our talented neighbors. It is gathered in the small space just south of the Cedar Lee Theater, the Heights Arts gallery. If you go I hope you’ll enjoy your visit. If you have already visited the store, stop back as new things are finding space in the store each day.

The annual Heights Arts Holiday Store features art from a selection of the many artists who reside in Cleveland Heights and University Heights. The store is staffed entirely by volunteers, and a percentage of sales benefits Heights Arts. Some of the available art includes books by Heights authors and poets; CDs by Heights composers and musicians, many of whom have performed at PARTY in the Heights; works by more than 70 visual artists.
