Racism in CLE fuels Real Estate scams by Safeguard, Land Bank and Forest City

"In a complaint filed with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the NFHA and 19 other fair housing groups nationwide said underwriting powerhouse Fannie Mae violates the federal Fair Housing Act by neglecting foreclosed homes in black and Latino neighborhoods in 34 metropolitan areas while doing a good job of maintaining foreclosed homes in white neighborhoods." The Plain Dealer article fails to mention that Safeguard (OH based mortgage service company) was charged with maintaining these Fannie Mae properties.
