For the past two years, Cleveland Botanical Garden's "Orchid Mania" show has been an appealing respite from the grey of late winter. This year, the Garden's orchid show offers all of the beauty, color, scent and magic visitors have come to expect.  

In addition, you will delight in the enchanting butterflies of The Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse, especially on sunny days.  

Orchid Mania: Blossoms & Butterflies will also probe the fascinating relationships between orchids and butterflies and also show the ways both orchids and butterflies serve as inspiration in the worlds of art and design.  

You will see some of our area's leading professional and amateur artists, photographers, and floral designers showing and interpreting orchids, butterflies, and their relationships.  

Orchid Mania: Blossoms & Butterflies also includes a wealth of programming and educational opportunities to learn about orchids, butterflies, and their roles in art.  

• Drop-in programs, including "Ask the Orchid Doctor"
• Classes in orchid and butterfly drawing and painting and Chinese silk and brush painting
• An art history lecture on the depiction of flora [3] in Western art
• A lecture on native Ohio orchids
• "My First Orchid Workshop" for kids
