Arabella Proffer-Vendetta paints amazing modern gothic mannerist portraits -- some base on actual people others from her imagination. She also designs some very cool art for bands. To see more, visit Arabella's website [1]. Her website is great! She is one of the few artists I know who use technology well to promote their work. Be sure to check out her work at Ingenuity Fest, too. Here is some infomation she sent out in an email:
July 13, 14, 15, 16th from noon - 1am: I'll be exhibiting again this year at All Go Signs at the McCory Building on 4th street as part of Ingenuity Fest. All Go Signs is a collaboration of art exhibits, DJs, bands and dance performances that happens about twice a year. More info at www.AllGoSigns.com [2] and www.IngenuityCleveland.com [3] for a full list of events and schedules.
September 9th - 29th: I will be having a solo called "Better Living Thru Rock" at the historic, haunted, and super awesome Southgate House [4] in Newport, KY (across the river from Cincinnati). Opening reception is Saturday, Sept. 9th 7pm-9pm.
This will be my last time showing in Ohio for a year so I can continue work on my special portrait series, so have at it!
