I can't believe that I found out about this--today from a bad flyer in Parma.
and the PD is just picking it up now, too...I saw the place a couple of months ago. This is a sacred place for a lot of people and the new owner respects the history of the Euclid Tavern. Believe it or not, the sign is a reconstruction. See www.euclid-tavern.com[1] as this develops.

For six-plus years, the Euclid Tavern was a bleak reminder of a heyday long gone. Well, the doors are open once again. At 9 p.m. Friday, the legendary bar, 11629 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, will celebrate its grand reopening with the JiMiller Band. Free. Call 216-231-7066.
"It's the old Euclid Tavern, but it's cleaned up," says co-owner Mike Ciofani. "We're going to be doing rock and blues, just like the old place, but we also have a new kitchen and we're serving food during the day."
