Elizabeth Kucinich to speak in Charleston, West Virginia
"Practical Peace: Living Even Better"

Peace and social justice advocate Elizabeth Kucinich traveled alone to India, at the age of 18, to work in one of Mother Teresa's poorest orphanages. Since then, she has organized and worked with humanitarian projects on five continents. She earned both her Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies and Theology, a Masters Degree in International Conflict Analysis from the University of Kent at Canterbury and a certificate in Peace and Reconciliation Studies from Coventry University.
Her many works and achievements include spending 16 months in a rural Tanzanian village working and volunteering for the British Red Cross as a refugee caseworker.
British born Elizabeth Kucinich has worked for over 15 years in the field of monetary reform with organizations such as the American Monetary Institute and the Forum for Stable Currencies at the House of Lords, London. Elizabeth's interest in monetary reform brought her to the US where she met and married Congressman Dennis Kucinich in 2005.
In partnership with her husband, she shares modes of thinking and policy approaches to officials and Heads of State around the world with a primary focus on environmental, economic and social wellbeing.
All are welcome to attend a vegan potluck at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Church, 520 Kanawha Blvd W. beginning at 5pm.
