My name is Doug. I am 62 years old and am handicapped. I also go to Dialysis three days a week. I had to leave my job 2 years ago because of my kidney failure and now I get a small disability check but even with that it has been difficult to pay rent of $400 each month and then buy some food.
I am on the verge of getting evicted on February 10 because I will not be able to pay the rent. I have been going to the food pantries for food for the past 12 months but it is just not enough.
