This past week - I tried to pick up a WiFi signal on the CWRU campus - NADA. While, I was in rural Frostburg and Cumberland MD - I never had a problem picking up a strong and free WiFi spot. Is this something we should consider and prepare for with the RNC coming to town???

Hello Residents of the City of Cleveland - you do have a choice.
Please rid us of the corrupt "it is what it is..." mentality. Get RID of Frank Jackson and Martin Sweeney - vote for transparency and accountability (at least there is a promise of something-anything better than the STATUS QUO).

If this article is to be believed, very little. Unfortunately, it probably is at least mostly correct.
Luckily they don't have it here, as far as I can tell, in fact much that isn't listed as organic is still really organic per local articlles, and I cook and bake mostly from scratch. I bake much too large a batch for me and share with my neighbors. A young Texas systems engineer neighbor says he can tell.

Eleven plaintiffs have filed a lawsuit in Texas district court against 18 firms whose mobile phone apps "surreptitiously harvest, upload and illegally steal the owner's address book data without the owner's knowledge or consent," the lawsuit alleges.
The lawsuit also claims that the uploads “have, quite literally, turned the address book owners’ wireless mobile devices into mobile radio beacons broadcasting and publicly exposing the unsuspecting device owner’s address book data to the world,” PC Mag reports.

Tonight, 75 persons attended the meeting held by Ohio Citizen Action at Neighborhood Family Practice on Ridge Rd organized by Sandy Buchanan.
Credit to Councilman Cummins for attending and addressing concerns, though much has to be explained on behalf of the City of Cleveland, and specifically, through Mayor Jackson's office pertaining to the proposed gasification plant at Ridge Rd.

Is Cleveland doomed to become a city without music if legislation is updated that spells out the rules for bars, taverns and restaurants that want to add live music?

Since I had only one day notice of the meeting, I complained and found that other people had had earlier notices and Sammy Catania had provided Henry Senyak with a list of dates. I suggested they be put in the newsletter. Well, the date it has to go to the printer doesn't allow for that. Well, print the whole list! Fortunately, the helpful Public Information Officer sent me the list, and here it is! I hope in the future to not be the only one raising questions/from the board.

I'm always happy to hear from eternal real NEO activist Max Eternity and see his fascinating work - whether his art or his commentary on the art or others, Max Eternity is unique... and is always exploring "What is Art"?

The Other Night I Remembered A Dream - And I Never Remember Dreams. This Was Serious.
Evelyn and I were sitting in the foyer of our home talking, at night, when gunmen in black masks suddenly rushed through our front door. We dove to the ground and lay there wondering what would happen. Suddenly there was a nine millimeter pushing forcefully against my forehead.
Then, I felt a numbing pain in my back and I could feel something was sucking the life out of my spine - and thank God I awoke.
Now I have been stabbed in the back so many times by so many people in Cleveland it is made of steel. I'm in the middle of showdowns with liars and cheaters all over town and the country - no big deal. No - this was near and dear. Big surprise to find out the chairman of realNEO Jeff Buster has been in hyper-back-stab mode and trying to destroy My realNEO. Your realNEO!

I'm Proud of My Wife and My realNEO for Educating Over 200,000 People About Healthier, Happier Childbirth, to-date... and the traffic is increasing with time. While most of the traffic has been direct to YouTube, I never would have bothered to save a clip or post it if I wasn't active with realNEO. realNEO equipped and incented me to share this moment, like I have shared so much in life here.
And Clara's birth will be here, on realNEO, forever.... and has been viewed 1,000s of times here, alone, in a year.
Most interesting, if you view the charts below, from YouTube Insight, this video is especially popular in the Middle-East and Asia (outside the USA) - its relative popularity by top country is in the following order:

Dear President Obama,
I'll be brief, here. The Environmental Protection Agency has further correspondence from me regarding government incompetency in Northeast Ohio, you may want to investigate.
Today, I am writing out of concern for your apparent lack of familiarity with basic science and technology. I don't know where you are from, but in America the Earth is round, and hemp grows here by God! You have scientists in your employ who will confirm that, and that hemp may easily be grown by American farmers without setting off a wave of reefer madness.
Your Chief Technology Officer, Aneesh Chopra, may confirm modern information technology enables monitoring of just about anything and everything on Earth, down to the nanoscale, including big fat hemp plants, so there is adequate technology in existence today to guard hemp crops against drug dealers more incompetent than DEA agents, who may mistake hemp for marijuana, or who are moronic enough to commingle the two.

Since the 1990s, my personal professional mission has been "To Optimize Information Technology for All".
I've helped the world's greatest organizations optimize IT for all their stakeholders, as a consultant working around the globe, and I am enabling Ohio and the world to optimize IT for all citizens, as an information technology innovator in my home of Northeast Ohio. One important expression of my mission to optimize IT for all is realNEO.US - Regional Economic Action Links for North East Ohio - which I founded in 2004, moved into the dysfunctional but living Real Coop co-operative owned structure a few years later, and have since used to transform the information, technology, insight and action of the people of the world interested in Northeast Ohio, and the world.
I recently received an email from Bill Densmore, co-director of Journalism That Matters, inviting me to "Create or Die 2", offering a nice global opportunity to share the realNEO story more broadly. Journalism That Matters is "an evolving collaboration of individuals supporting the pioneers who are shaping the emerging news and information ecosystem" - Create or Die 2 is about "Disrupting the Status Quo with Journalism Innovation and Entrepreneurship" - and I can't imagine initiatives that fit better with realNEO and my mission.
