ON THURSDAY, MARCH 17, 2016 – DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OHIO CELEBRATED ST. PATRICK’S DAY WITH THE 149TH PARADE DOWN SUPERIOR AVENUE.
The nearly 2-hour parade (1:04 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.) on a pleasant afternoon with marchers, marching bands, bagpipes, floats, Irish dancers, dogs, and others -- was watched by thousands who lined both sides of Superior Avenue from East 18th Street to East 3rd Street.
I watched the parade – proudly wearing my green turban and carrying the WELCOME JIMMY DIMOR PUBLIC SQUARE sign – a sign that was very well received.
