I just received this email from Anita the Weblady, of Shaw High On Line and many other important social networks in the area, about the "Current Plus Plan." This seems to offer valuable help for area residents struggling with their past heating expenses this time of year... I thought I would pass this on to realNEO members . Note, the compliance deadline is April 15th! While reflecting on paying your Winter 2009/2010 heating bills, now, plan for how you will reduce consumption, conserve energy, and pay less going into 2011!!!!! Read on for your options in paying for your mistakes of the past...

Dominion East Ohio Gas has a program called "Current Plus Plan" where you pay $175.00 towards your bill and they will take your current balance, divide it into 6 monthly installments and then you pay it with your future bills.  For example, if your 1/6 payment is $100 and your next months current bill is $25, then your payment is $125.  This can help prevent shut offs for high gas bills.   Go and pay $175 on your bill, then go home and call 1-800-362-7557.  Tell them you want to be put on the Current Plus Plan and that you paid the $175 - give them the receipt number.

 

DEADLINE: APRIL 15 - YOU MUST HAVE YOUR $175 PAID AND THIS SET UP NO LATER THAN THE END OF BUSINESS ON THE 15TH.  SO HURRY!
