Stabbing– occurred at approximately 7:55 PM Thursday, Feb 28, 2013 near W 25 and Clark Avenue. Responding officers found the 19-year old victim with multiple stab wounds to the torso. The victim was conveyed to MetroHealth Medical Center by Cleveland EMS in serious condition.
The preliminary investigation indicates that 19-year old Jan Perez was involved in an argument with a male while playing basketball at an open gym at Lincoln West High School. After leaving the gym, the argument continued at W 30 and Meyer Avenue. During the argument, the black male suspect pulled a knife and repeatedly stabbed the victim.
