 | Song of a Lost Generation: Beatles "Money"Submitted by Norm Roulet on Fri, 02/26/2010 - 23:39.
This is what the children of the post-WW2 baby-boom generation went crazy over when they were young and impressionable In 1959, the frst hit for Motown, and in 1963, a big hit for the Beatles... these oldies fans are in their 60s+ now Pursuit of money - what a powerful message... how'd that work out. Paul MacCartney and some industry types got perversly rich. Where'd the rappers get their messages... sweating with the oldies?
The best things in life are free Your lovin' gives me a thrill Money don't get everything it's true Money don't get everything it's true Well now give me money
