Dear BCCA Members,
As you know, our gift boutique is coming up next Saturday, Dec. 5th.
Again, it will take place at the hall at:
Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2928 Scranton (corner of Scranton and Seymour).
The boutique will open at 10:00 and run until 4:00. In addition to fine handmade gifts, there will also be:
We look forward to seeing many of you there.
To get everything ready to go, however, we need a few volunteers to help set up and tear down. Set-up will begin at 8:00 and take about an hour, and tear-down will start about 4:15 and take probably an hour and a half. We'd very much appreciate assistance from anyone who can spare the time.
In addition, we will be decorating the hall from about 9:30 to noon on Friday, the 4th, so anyone who'd like to stop in and put up a wreath or hang an ornament will be most welcome!
Lastly, we have room for 4 more crafters. Most needed are candle-makers and soap/lotion-makers, but the only category that's full so far is jewelers, so if you know anyone other than a jeweler who might like to participate, please direct him or her to me for an application ASAP.
Messages can be left for Brooklyn Centre Community Association at 485-1387. Please note that, due to a cancellation, we have one pre-paid spot open.
Look for our ads in the Plain Dealer and the Sun papers, as well as the Old Brooklyn News and the Tremont newsletter. We're hoping to make this gift boutique an annual event, and we could use your help and participation!
