The Fine Arts Department is pleased to once again host classical guitarists Benjamin Kunkel and Ryan Haverty this Thursday, April 23rd, 2009 at 12 noon for a special lunch hour recital. This recital is free and open to all ages and will be held on the 3rd floor of Main Library (Fine Arts Department lobby). The program will consist of the following:

Benjamin Kunkel will perform Frank Martin's Quatre Pieces Breves, Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude, Fugue and Allegro, BWV 998, and Isaac Albeniz's Granada (serenata).

Ryan Haverty will perform Augustin Barrios Mangore's La Catedral, Toru Takemitsu's All in Twilight, and Leo Brouwer's Rito de los Orishas.

Kunkel and Haverty are Master of Music candidates at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Mr. Kunkel previously performed for us last year. Please join us for a wonderful lunch hour of solo classical guitar! If you have any questions, please call the Fine Arts Department at 216.623.2848.
