You Are Invited:  Cleveland Clean Air Century Campaign Working Group Meeting

Kevin Rosseel , U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (Climate Change Division), Communications Director will be the keynote speaker at Cleveland Clean Air Century Campaign's quarterly meeting on April 4, 2007.
U.S. EPA’s Climate Change Division works to assess and address global climate change and the associated risks to human health and the environment. We play a key role in U.S. and international efforts to address climate change by:
    •     implementing successful voluntary programs to reduce  non-carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions,
    •     analyzing rigorously CO2 and non-CO2 greenhouse gas  emissions and economically efficient reduction, sequestration, and  adaptation options,
    •     communicating climate analyses and strategies to  policy-makers, experts and U.S. climate negotiators,
    •     building effective international capacity to analyze  and reduce GHG emissions and associated air pollution, and
    •     educating the public on climate change.

If you or your organization are interested in learning about climate change this is a must attend meeting. We will be offering CEUs for Registered Sanitarians, and Professional Engineers.  Continuing Education Units applied for Wastewater Operators.  Please email your license numbers to keith [dot] riley [at] epa [dot] state [dot] oh [dot] us if you have not already done so for previous offerings.
