For your convenience, the following community meetings will be held prior to the City Planning Commission meeting:

 





 

All interested property owners, tenants and neighbors affected by the proposed zoning changes are encouraged to express their opinions on the proposed zoning changes so that the Planning Commission may have the benefit of their testimony in making a recommendation to City Council.  Please note that individual statements made at the meeting will be limited to three minutes.

Hot Dogs, Side Dish’s, and Soft Drinks will be provided!!

 

In case of rain we will picnic indoors on the first floor of the tavern.

 

This will be a family friendly event for all to enjoy and a great opportunity to meet old and new neighbors in our part of Tremont.

 

Please come and bring you neighbor and get to know other residents.

ODOT Public Informational Meeting on Wednesday August 10th

 

This meeting is a monthly update relating to the impact of the construction projects for the Innerbelt Bridge and the re-decking of the Starkweather and Kenilworth overpasses for the rest of this year. Please attend and hear the schedule for closures and detours in out neighborhood.

 

This public meeting will be held at: Sokolowski’s University Inn

Located at 1201 University Ave.

Meeting is scheduled to start at 5 PM.

 

 

West 25th St. & Scranton Rd. Corridor Zoning Update Public Meeting on Wednesday August 10th

 

This meeting is to request public input from area residents, institutions, and business stakeholders regarding the City of Cleveland Planning Department’s staff recommendations to change the zoning business and industrial districts on Scranton Rd. and West 25th Street to reflect the needs of the community in the 21st century. Plan on attending and to review the Zoning map changes and how they can or would possibility impact you or your property rights. This will also allow for the implementation of strategic plans and the future planned economic development of both critical gateway streets to and in Tremont.

 

This Public meeting will be held at: Applewood Center Auditorium

Located at the rear of 3518 West 25th St. corner of Daisy Ave.

Meeting is scheduled to start at 6 PM.

 

 

LJ Minor Plant Expansion Phase #1 Informational Public Meeting on Tuesday August 9th

 

This meeting will be held by LJ Minor to go over plans regarding their 35,000 square foot Phase #1 plant expansion that will start construction soon. Please plan to attend and find out how the Phase #1 portion of constriction would change traffic flow patterns on West 19th St. and impact surrounding neighbors. Area Community Development Corporation’s and Councilman Cummins are planned participants at the meeting.

 

This Public meeting will held on site at: LJ Minor’s / Nestle

Located at 2621 West 25th Street corner of Barber Ave. Look for meeting signs

Meeting is scheduled to start at 5:30 PM

 

 

The Lincoln Heights Block Club serves the residential stakeholders in our service area. We are most interested in hearing input from you regarding these three public meetings. Our next Block Club meeting is on September 8th at Zion Church located at 2716 West 14th St. at 6pm. Please plan to attend.
