Cox International Law Center at Case Western Reserve University, will provide an insider’s perspective about the Saddam Hussein trial and its consequences at noon on Friday, January 12, 2007, at The City Club of Cleveland. During the first Bush and Clinton Administrations, Scharf served in the Office of the Legal Adviser of the U.S. Department of State as attorney-adviser for Law Enforcement and Intelligence, attorney-adviser for United Nations Affairs, and delegate to the U.N. Human Rights Commission. Scharf is the author of 10 books, including Balkan Justice, nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 1998, and the award-winning books The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and Peace with Justice. ###
