Does Alianna DeFreezes' murder implicate Betsy DeVos?Submitted by Jeff Buster on Mon, 02/06/2017 - 16:37.
A few quick thoughts about Alianna DeFreeze, going to school in the morning dark, taking a public bus - with transfers - to school, the school having a "glitch" in their attendance monitoring so Alianna's mom didn't get notice that Alianna was not at school until late afternoon, charter schools' competing and displacing public schools, no school district supplied busses for charter school kid's transportation, very pro charter school Betsy DeVos on cusp of Senate nomination as Secretary of Education, the massve financial fraud purpetrated by charter school ECOT in Ohio (link https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjK8_33vvzRAhUI3mMKHVVLDmAQFggsMAM&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cleveland.com%2Fmetro%2Findex.ssf%2F2016%2F09%2Fecot_attendance_inflated_by_9000_students_audit_finds_60_million_in_state_funding_in_jeopardy.html&usg=AFQjCNHgigOiOPONvykDBsBKDAaCSN6Imw&sig2=VQQDEuxd_iQLAJewy-ZfzA&bvm=bv.146094739,d.amc) Where am I going with this? Alianna didn't ever get to vote on any school funding issues. If she had been able to vote - would she have voted for a school which was closer to her home? Maybe 3 miles away isn't excessive - in a safe neighborhood. Ms. DeVos will, for sure, ad to the distance children have to travel to get to their charter school - because charter schools are for profit.
Below is a copy of a comment from a Mr. Bruckner to Phillip Morris's report on Cleveland.com "Mr. Morris, first of all, the 14 doesn't go anywhere near East 91st and Union. The 14 goes straight down Kinsman. Alianna would have gotten off the 14 right in front of the police station, walked across East 93rd, and waited for the 10 right in front of the Shell Station. That's one of the busiest intersections on the East Side. If she was caught on camera walking West on Kinsman, she was heading for the McDonald's next door to grab a snack before heading back up to Kinsman to catch the 10. These are small details I know, but if you are a reporter, you should try to get them right out of respect to Alianna, especially since a big part of your story was your claim that you actually took the buses she did and retraced her route." SENATORS, PLS CONSIDER MILEAGE - LOCAL SCHOOLS
Submitted by Jeff Buster on Mon, 02/06/2017 - 21:39.
So it is 9:30 at night before the senate vote on Ms. DeVos...and here I am posting to realneo.us. What's the point? Plenty.
One vote makes the difference. This isn't politics alone. Children are walking to school in the morning darkness. To a for profit school? Weird. Every child should be home schooled....but that's not practical. (I have very good experience) But I think this post on Realneo.us is important...and will change the tide... because... llllllllllllllllllllllll
