The Greater Cleveland Partnership will have you believe Frank Jackson has been good for Cleveland based on improvements seen downtown, but let's review some of the big ticket projects hatched under Frank Jackson as Mayor.

Credit to Leila Atassi for her series in 2013 - I have added the ratings:

Public Square Makeover - ? 

Schools Transformaton - FAIL

Lakefront Development - B

Turning Trash into Electricity - FAIL

LED lights - No Bid Contract -FAIL

To this list I would add:

VADDX Plastic to Energy - FAIL

 

Now - most dangerously of all - Jackson is giving money to an UNPROVEN developer, one J. Duncan Shorey - and working with his former council colleague, Gus Frangos, now at the "Land Bank" - Mayor Jackson's administration has greenlighted forgiveness on MILLIONS of dollars in unpaid taxes.  Can anyone else see where this is going?

Mayor Jackson and his cracker-jack economic development department may trot out the recently negotiated "Land Bank" precedent with Heinen's in Warrensville Heights as an example where the "Land Bank" had to erase unpaid taxes - but in this case - Heinen's, a proven employer, was the beneficiary.

What criteria does the City of Cleveland and the Cuyahoga County use to determine whether a developer's proposal warrants MILLIONS of dollars in back taxes erased ?????

This taxpayer wants to know.

Weco fund 990 report for 2012 shows 112,000 $ income.
United way gave them 157,000 $.
Plain dealer won't investigate obvious discrepancy.

In 2012 United way gave 2 Grants of 157000 $ to weco fund according to the public 990 report and confirmed by Ms Snyder at United way.
The.2012 weco 990 report shows an income from all all sources of 112,000 $.
The board president Elisabeth plax is a financial expert quoted by the plain dealer and is also a.contributer to armin budish TV show where they fleece the old people out of there monies. She won't can't explain the deficiency. Whole thing stinks like rapfogel.
When.will the plain dealer... You ms Cheryl Harris do a story on this OBVIOUS THEFT!!!
United way claims to assiduously follow their Grants.
Obviously this is a false.claim.

One community is a fraud.charity... Check the 990 reports with the dozens of people making over 150,000...topping off over 300,000.
And.they have.a profit side too....all subsidiazed by the nonprofit... Only in Cleveland.
