30 years of service shows Rick is the right choice
Rick Nagin has stood up for our families and our community for three decades. He has promoted our interests through election campaigns, voter registration drives and lobbying for progressive legislation.
He has helped unions organize, built support for workers on strike and fought against plant closings. He has stood up for the civil and democratic rights of minorities, helped our social service and community organizations and built block clubs.
He has supported our local businesses and schools and promoted economic and community development projects. As Ward 14 Councilman Assistant he responded to our concerns on a daily basis and handled some 40,000 requests for service.
DEMOCRAT, Endorsed by: Congressman Dennis Kucinich, State Senator Shirley Smith, State Representative Mike Skindell, AFL-CIO, AFSCME, Steelworkers, Auto Workers, Presidents of Hispanic Clubs and Agencies, Presidents of Ward 14 Block Clubs, Owners of Ward 14 Businesses
"I've known Rick Nagin for more than 30 years. He's honest, hard-working and conscientious. The people of Ward 14 have a chance to elect a Councilman who will be totally dedicated to them. What more can you ask for? I'm proud to join with the AFL-CIO in supporting Rick Nagin." - Dennis Kucinich, Congressman, 10th District

Rick Nagin
Rick Nagin is a good guy. I have known him for several years and have gone to many neighborhood meetings at his house. He has the best interest at heart and would definitely look out for Ward 14. He would never pick on the elderly, poor or physically/mentally disabled. When I lived in Ward 14, Rick would always timely return phone calls and assist in anyway that he could. I seen his results. He is very knowledgeable and would be an asset to Ward 14.
The elderly in Ward 14 sure
The elderly in Ward 14 sure can use Rick. Especially those in the Clark Metro area. I just hope he isn't one to go along to get along with the self-serving insiders of Tremont West.
Rick Nagin
Nagin is the one
I don't put my time and energy into things I don't enjoy anymore, life is too short. That is why I joined up as a volunteer on Rick Nagin's campaign for council. I have known Rick for over 20 years and know what a good man he is. I also know all the work that he has done in Ward 14. While Cintron was my councilperson, it was Rick that got things done. He did before working for Cintron and after, too. I really want the new Ward 14 to have a chance to have stabilize and grow. I want the money kept in the ward and a new CDC to emerge out of the two (Stockyards and CM). I know that the people will be represented in this way. I want the poverty issues brought to the table as the number one concern. While towpaths are nice, and need to expand, being able to stay in a home, have the electricity on and food to eat takes priority. Rick is able to work with diverse populations, and the BOE stats have the new Ward 14 at about 50% Hispanic and 20% African American. Rick already works with people on crime & safety, and has continued 4 years later to take calls from the current ward 14 residents on housing referrals and city services.
