Hear this, Mr. President (Trump): Women will not be silent equity now! Don’t TRUMPle over Women’s Rights THE WOMEN’S MARCH IN CLEVELAND, OHIO
Don’t TRUMPle over Women’s Rights
Saturday, January 21, 2017
About 15,000 Clevelanders and others – women, men, and children – of all sizes, ages, colors, types, and persuasions – including a West Park towel-head (Sikh-American) – took part in the peaceful Women’s March held in Cleveland, Ohio to protest the anti-women’s rights and anti-environment agenda of the new Trump administration.
The 3-hour march was held in the renovated Public Square and along the adjoining streets and avenues of downtown on a very spring-like (63ºF)
Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The march in Cleveland was one of the marches held in a number of U.S. cities, and also around the world. These events gave residents an opportunity to march in their local communities when it was not possible to march in the giant march held in Washington D.C. that was attended by nearly 500,000.
Note: While I (Satinder P. S. Puri) strongly believe and advocate civil right for all citizens – I am pro-life because of my personal convictions –a vegetarian and against the death penalty.

Note: The young lady on the right is a student at the west side St. Joseph's Academy.
She, as did other participants I met at the march, radiate the best values that we see in Clevelanders -- it was all about goodwill and standing up for one's rights. BTW -- she was one of my students in first grade science at the neighborhood Riverside School -- a CMSD school where I am a volunteer teacher (this is my 13th year). She was able to spot me out -- and I was, to say the least, very proud of her academic achievements.
