From Darren Hamm: The Brooklyn Centre Community Association (BCCA) would like to invite you to the The 2009 Candidate’s Night This public event will provide elected officials or candidates for elected office the opportunity to present campaign platforms as well as respond to questions and concerns of area residents. Invitees include candidates for the Office of Cleveland Mayor, Cleveland City Council - Ward 14, and the Cuyahoga County Reform ballot initiative. For confirmation of attendees and additional event details, please visit www.brooklyncentre.org, or email the BCCA at bcca07 [at] yahoo [dot] com. The Brooklyn Centre Community Association is a non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and a neighborhood association who has served the historic Brooklyn Centre neighborhood since 1978. Our purpose is to provide a community-based organization through which residents may work together around the common goals of neighborhood safety for citizens of all ages, crime prevention for persons and property, residential beautification, and improved city services.

This event will be held in the main sanctuary of Brooklyn Memorial United Methodist Church. Parking is available in the rear of the church.
The evening will be moderated by Mr. Rick Jackson of WCPN 90.3 (to be confirmed). We will be joined by Mayor Frank Jackson, Mr. Bill Patmon, Councilman Brian Cummins, and Mr. Rick Nagin as presenting candidates. Each candidate will be provided time to present their campaign platform and address questions and concerns of residents and audience members.
Please plan on attending this valuable opportunity to take part in the 2009 Elections and meet the candidates for local office. Bring your questions and concerns about our city and our neighborhood!

This public event will provide elected officials and candidates for elected office the opportunity to present campaign platforms as well as respond to questions and concerns of area residents. The 2009 Candidate’s Night will be professionally moderated by WCPN’s Rick Jackson and is anticipated to draw several hundred residents.
Event Details
This event will be held in the main sanctuary of Brooklyn Memorial United Methodist Church to accommodate a large audience. Parking is available in the rear of the church. While media coverage is not confirmed, this event has been circulated to local media contacts with a request for their attendance.
