Content management, resource distribution, healthy food production and shifting society towards sustainability--all discussed tonight as part of the REAL COOP agenda.  It's not an easy concept to get off the ground.

Stick with US. We can't offer perfect understanding and control of our biology and, it seems, the last thing we can control is the superorganism that we call government, but perhaps we can leave NEO, a slightly better place.

Credibility

Credibility and a tipping point is needed here.  We have to come to grips with the reality that the foundation-driven model is flawed as a system that feeds on one factor--poverty.  Despite the good intentions of so many efforts in NEO--Local Food, Fresh Fork, Slow Food etc.
the proposed life system in NEO can not be driven on a profit-margin.

REAL COOP does not have a profit-margin.  Jeff B has been "dogging" some contributors to this site about their agenda/motive, because he suspects a profit-margin.  We need to find a way to meet in the middle with the good folks that have made real headway in setting up a communication and distribution network for local goods, services and above all local food production.

Our soils and waters are contaminated, but still the acreage and resources available to NEO offer the potential to create the greenest, healthiest, clean community in the world.  We also have some of the best young, creative minds in the world concentrated here.  Let's not squander our wealth.
