The Painting in America exhibit made me well up with patriotism for America and the Art of America. We are often so unappreciative of our cultural heritage. Here is a chance to encourage your community to appreciate the Art of America.

Patriot Day

Today is Patriot Day--and while, I generally shun mass emotion, we need to remember the painful past to create a better union for all. Art helps us heal the rifts that divide.

Becoming Human

Look to art for inspiration during these trying times. Visit the Butler Museum in Youngstown. You will find rejuvenation in the works of these artists.

Personally, I have to thank Cathie and George Bleck for giving me a perfect day to enjoy Northeast Ohio. With all the drama, music, food, friends and ART that goes along with a beautiful day. Cathie is an alchemist and she has passed on the magic to her family. Check out the Cleveland Jazz Project, too!
