I guess it is time to get serious about politics, for real NEO and OhioSubmitted by Norm Roulet on Thu, 04/29/2010 - 06:00.
I just received an email about the Governor's race - Strickland is running against ex-Lehman Brothers Managing Director John Kasich. Strickland released his tax returns today - putting his last decade of returns on open file - and it seems Kasich has not agreed to release his last decade of returns. I though that was requred by law. This should be enforced or required as soon as possible. With all the good reasons to be distrustful of ex-Lehman Brothers Managing Directors, who seem to operate below the radar of public disclosure - as pointed out below and by our global financial melt-down - I guess it is time to get serious about politics, for real NEO and Ohio. I will affirm my personal support here for full disclosure by all candidates of all financial information of reasonable interest to the public, including tax returns. Others may be interested in voicing your concerns on these matters... see a way how below... Also, while I'm thinking about it, I support the following coming up for election - ISSUE 15 FIRST AND FOREMOST - I have no doubts on supporting these issues and candidates already (these are my personal picks and are certainly not some "community" endorsement): ISSUE 15 - ISSUE 15 - ISSUE 15 - ISSUE 15 - ISSUE 15 - ISSUE 15 - ISSUE 15 Brunner - and no matter what we need to replace Voinovich with a Democrat here, so there must be unity in this race in the long run (even if I have a strong preference who leads that)! ISSUE 1 Strickland Brown Fudge Who or what else is coming up for election... and does anyone have other opinions on these races... More on full financial disclosure by candidates:
