Thanks for posting the info on the new website, Norm. You are right that readers can find it useful. Legal Aid used to be in the frontlines of fighting back for the little guy against the corporations & government, and in response to their effectivenss, they were gutted in funding by Congress. They are prohibited from class actions and proactive lawsuits. However, they are invaluable to people fighting for disabilty from social security and SSI, attempts to take away homes from people who owe money to hospitals and nursing homes, utility companies, and I think that they now help with foreclosure issues. I do not know what the qualification guidelines are but if anyone needs their help, infomation is a click away.

LAS also helps with Evictions...but not Property Tax Foreclosure

They also help with child custody, child support, and welfare claims.
