U.S. Chamber lies about Brown's record

Submitted by Lee Batdorff on Fri, 12/09/2011 - 20:57.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has used lies to attack the record of Sherrod Brown according to a recent edition of the Plain Dealer's Politifacts.

Sherrod must be good at what he does by the way he draws vicious attacks centered around lies from the right. These are especially from U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown's nemesis de jour, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, current Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel.

Over three-fourths of Americans distrust economic system

American-Bank.jpg

A new survey displays the negativity Americans feel toward the United States financial system proceeds to grow. Faith in the American economic system is indicated by only 23 percent of those surveyed. But it isn't hopeless, professionals say. Regulators, with work, can repair that trust. But the public must also be educated enough to know when the program is failing them.

Senator Portman appointed to Super Committee, asking for Ohioans' input, let him know

At a Social Security forum today, the impact the deficit would have on Social Security and Medicare was discussed. The outlook is not good. They are considering raising the age you qualify, cutting payments by 3% as you get older, just when needs are higher, so that if you live long, you could have a 12% cut.

Who will "apply breaks" during U.S. default

Submitted by Lee Batdorff on Sat, 07/23/2011 - 21:05.

Folks, this might be a very special week, starting Monday July 25th, 2011.

Many say that we, as a civilization, are looking into the depths of a coming deep depression brought on by an actual default of the U.S. Federal government.  Even just the simple continuing disagreement between the right-controlled U.S. House and the ever-so-centering President Obama about what to do into the next week could prompt a falling investment bond rating.

From what I've been reading, a falling bond rating for the U.S. is a falling financial rating for every borrower in the U.S.

Dates of upcoming O.D.O.T. Question & Answer meetings

Submitted by Oldroser on Tue, 07/19/2011 - 01:57.

Since I had only one day notice of the meeting, I complained and found that other people had had earlier notices and Sammy Catania had provided Henry Senyak with a list of dates. I suggested they be put in the newsletter. Well, the date it has to go to the printer doesn't allow for that. Well, print the whole list! Fortunately, the helpful Public Information Officer sent me the list, and here it is! I hope in the future to not be the only one raising questions/from the board.

Clinton Years American Dream Reversed artwork by Ray Tapajna

This artwork, part of Ray Tapajna's Art that Talks series, is a marker for history and future generations to know how the American Dream was Reversed by President Clinton who passed the free trade programs designed by the elder President Bush.  His son, President Bush, the second, hid the economic mess behind his shock and awe pre-emptive wars. President Obama followed and bailed out those who were responsible for the free trade economic failure.

The Most Rewarding Credit Card? It Depends By TIM WINSHIP, Smarter Travel May 12, 2011— In Capital One's seemingly omnipresent ad campaign, viewers are asked, What's in your wallet? A better question for consumers, however, would be, What do you want from what's in your wallet? Because while there are cards catering to every need, if not every want, there's no single card that delivers it all.

The Other Night I Remembered A Dream - And I Never Remember Dreams. This Was Serious... I was stabbed in the back!

The Other Night I Remembered A Dream - And I Never Remember Dreams. This Was Serious.

Evelyn and I were sitting in the foyer of our home talking, at night, when gunmen in black masks suddenly rushed through our front door. We dove to the ground and lay there wondering what would happen. Suddenly there was a nine millimeter pushing forcefully against my forehead.

Then, I felt a numbing pain in my back and I could feel something was sucking the life out of my spine - and thank God I awoke.

Now I have been stabbed in the back so many times by so many people in Cleveland it is made of steel. I'm in the middle of showdowns with liars and cheaters all over town and the country - no big deal. No - this was near and dear. Big surprise to find out the chairman of realNEO Jeff Buster has been in hyper-back-stab mode and trying to destroy My realNEO. Your realNEO!
