Okay...as a lifetime citizen of Cleveland and the near West Side I am utterly amused by all this development near Metro... I love how they layed off countless workers and then gave huge bonuses to the leftover folks at taxpayer's expense... I love how they thrive off of federal funding for the low income and indigent (Because they always get paid through other resources allotted by the federal government...)
Moreover, like I asked dog & ponying, power point presentation, slide show presenter; MR. JOE SANTIAGO back in 2008.... WHAT JOBS WERE BEING CREATED FOR THE LOCALS OF OUR WARD THROUGH THAT WONDERFUL DEVELOPMENT ALL OVER OUR WARD? Seeing as to how all the contractors, builders, laborers, and then the regular workers of the stores are CARPETBAGGERS coming in from the burbs to fill the jobs; what good are those locations to any of the local residents?
When they develop and plan these projects...it seems like they are ALWAYS working with OUTSIDERS and RARELY WORKING WITH LOCAL RESIDENTS to help build up small business opportunities.... At least that is my observation...
Just remember...these political agendas are driven by keeping the little people down so that they have a continual stream of "QUOTAS" to ascertain future funding...Until the little people fight for their rights to build businesses...this cycle will continue.

The City of Cleveland has "loaned" two dumpsters to the guy who owns this house and lives in Brooklyn, OH. This guy has been allowed to skate on his tax obligations, while others in Cleveland, and, especially on the east side of Cleveland and East Cleveland, have not been so lucky.
