Is the Internet the enemy of reading, or has it created a new kind of reading, one that society should not discount?
Ironically, this year-- as compared to last year -- I see more people (kids, teens, adults, seniors--all ethnic backgrounds) reading BOOKs, not laptops. It's almost a backlash effect.
So, will bound books really go the way of letter writing, and become obsolete?

I will always want to read printed books -- and I think there are plenty of others like me. I like going to a library and walking the stacks of books, smelling the musty volumes of a book sale and piling up my most recent reads by the bed I don't discrimnate against that which I read on the web though.
I write thank you notes on stationary and send them snail mail too.
