LARRY CORNEET POSTED HIS COMMENTS ON TREMONTTRUTHS AFTER ATTENDING A TWDC BY-LAW COMMITTEE MEETING

Submitted by jerleen1 on Wed, 10/07/2009 - 21:33.

The proposed TWDC bylaws specify that the TWDC Board will appoint all voting
members of its committees, along with their chairpersons. At the TWDC Bylaws
Committee meeting last week, one of the reasons mentioned for this was to help
enable the TWDC to sacrifice of the welfare of selected neighborhoods for what
it perceives to be the greater good of Tremont. By appointing all committee
members and their leadership, the TWDC Board can prevent neighborhoods from
packing committees to prevent such actions.

Cleveland's Forest City Corporation's Science and Technology Group is the developer for the eminent domain demolished area to the north of Johns Hopkins.

These children are playing on a stoop of one of the vacant rowhouses on the edge of the Mason Dixon line.

Is this important?

FAHRENHEIT HAS NO DUMPSTER - PROPS GARBAGE IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY ON SIDEWALK - ALFRESCO FOR FURRY FOUR LEGGED CRITTERS

Submitted by jerleen1 on Wed, 10/07/2009 - 15:38.
IMG_0599.JPG

This is the scene almost daily for people walking in the neighborhood up and down Jefferson Avenue.  If the wind is blowing, most of the time walkers have to step over the boxes and garbage strewn across the sidewalk.  Disabled residents have to maneuver around this mess - in hot weather, this causes flies, rats and other vermin in close quarters of the kitchen.

An open venue for furry four legged critters to dine alfresco when the coast is clear and if they happen to be bold, they might just join the humans for supper.

Any thoughts on this:

R.I.P. GOURMET MAGAGINE ...

Condé Nast Publications announced yesterday that they would cease monthly publication of Gourmet Magazine.  Gourmet began in 1941, though Conde Nast only owned it since the 80s. A friend of mine called it the fall of the Western world a few years ago when he heard that University School planned to stop offering French -- for me, the death of Gourmet Magazine is a similarly bleak omen for America.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Gulag Archipelago - unbanned in russian schools - Zinn & Chomsky, banned in american schools

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Wed, 10/07/2009 - 00:50.

 ln 1968, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn finished
his book *The Gulag Archipelago,* a scorching indictment of the
oppression that he and his countrymen suffered under the totalitarian
regime of the Soviet Union. Banned for years, it was never formally
published in his home country until 1989. Even after that, the new
Russian government tried to control the teaching of history by
suppressing texts like Solzhenitsyn's. This year, all that changed. *The

FBI arrest US activist for using Twitter in non-violent protest

Submitted by Eternity on Tue, 10/06/2009 - 20:26.
Max Eternity - In yet another stunning act of domestic aggression, during the recent G20 summit in Pittsburgh, the Obama administration gave tacit approval for the FBI to arrest an activist for using the social network Twitter in communicating with other G20 protesters. This happens just a few months after the controversy over recent elections in Iran , which saw protesters in that country also using Twitter to communicate in solidarity and dissent.

This is a pic that I took last winter showing not only little to no room for handicapped accessability but even not enough room for able bodied pedestrians to make it around the tight squeeze of the fence that is called temporary.  This is not to mention the big semi truck bus kitchen on wheels the size of a house that stays parked either on the corner of Jefferson or Professor blocking the view of traffic coming into the intersection and is sooner or later going to cause a little kid to get seriously injured or killed when it darts out in front of a car because this big thing is

Under the Bush-Obama reign, US loses "superpower" status

Submitted by Eternity on Tue, 10/06/2009 - 11:54.
Max Eternity - It has often been said that the revolution will not be televised, and in a move that is perhaps not so surprising, yet none the less shocking, the world's major oil producing nations have decided to dump the US dollar.  This comes just weeks after President Obama and The City of Chicago were rebuked in their attempts to secure the 2016 Olympics for the United States.  Yet, while the rest of the world continues to move on with its various independent adgendas, the US seems intent on staying in denial of its tremendous

Issue 3 Illustrates How "Industries are starting to write their business plans into the constitution"

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Tue, 10/06/2009 - 10:50.

For the next three weeks, one of the most important things the people of Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo and Ohio in general may do is fight Issue 3, which changes the Ohio constitution to give a monopoly on casino gambling to Dan Gilbert, owner of Quicken Loans, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and other financial and gambling interests.

Let Me Introduce To You Five Public Servants Who Just Cost Citizens Of Unreal NEO Millions Of Dollars, While Poisoning Them

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Tue, 10/06/2009 - 09:48.

Meet the Public Utilities Commissioners of Ohio - five "public servants" of the State of Ohio who have approved an electricity demand side management program that is so unfair and costly to residents of Northeast Ohio, and so advantageous to a select group of public utility companies, as to raise absolute doubt about the integrity, competency and honesty of those setting energy policy and regulations for our state. Of course, energy policy for Ohio determines our levels of pollution, which are high. These dubious people are:
