Where's this lead hazard? Don't ask Sherwin Williams

One of the defenses of the paint and lead industries against litigation over lead poisoning is the paint companies claim there is no way to identify which paint company made which lead paint - they claim is is all one big public nuisance and deny any responsibility. Perhaps this Sherwin Williams sign on the side of an abandoned building on Buckeye in Cleveland may be used to fingerprint this batch of paint, and that fingerprint may be used to identify other Sherwin Williams lead poison - technology allows for subatomic particle analysis and it would certainly be able to differentiate between paint companies, if not batches. Even if Sherwin Williams doesn't supply samples of their paint, in this case it is branded to them. The State of Rhode Island has decided against the paint and lead industries regardless of proof of who made which can, viewing the whole mess as a toxic soup caused by just a few guilty parties - damages and appeals are being decided, and this litigation should come to protect residents of lead contaminated properties all over NEO in the mear future... for the time being, if you want to know more about lead poison don't bother asking Sherwin Williams as they won't tell... feel free to post questions about this on REALNEO.
