 Now, in the community I live in, this is a bashing.  Frank Giglio's home, while he was under police guard, in threat of going to jail, as they smashed his house to smitherines.

All evening I've been thinking of an appropriate answer to the post by jb wherein she refers to my "TWDC Bashing." 

As I go over months and months of research material, files and notes, I find myself asking the question, "what the hell am I doing in the middle of all this bullshit?"  I could easily dump all papers, files, documents and pictures in the garbage and sit my rear back in my easy chair and let life go on. 

I was asked by several people to attend the recent Sustainability Conf in Cleveland, but alas I was not able to do that.

As I've been wading through the various cynical blog posts and coverage of the event - I was struck by a few things:

Sam Jawhari has lived in the Tremont Community for a long time.  He is raising three children, and owns/leases the Fairfield Gas and Auto on Fairfield Avenue.  The location of Sam's business has been a garage and gas station for four, five or more decades.  Sam is one of the nicest and most considerate neighbors/businessmen in our neighborhood.
